On-site Stock Market Game workshops

On-site teacher training workshops for beginning Stock Market Game teachers include interactive curriculum lessons, stock market basics, handouts and computer lab sessions. Teachers learn how to access the SMG's Teacher Support Center for online curricula, lesson planning, tutorials and assessments. They will also learn how to access and manipulate the student-based portfolio simulation.

Training sessions are offered each semester at our university-based Centers for Economic Education. Find a center near you to register for the next training session. Teachers who attend and complete the entire workshop will receive CPDUs.

Please Note: The UIC SMG re-scheduled training is from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday, January 29. Interested participants can email Joy Joyce ([email protected]) or Helen Roberts ([email protected]) to sign up.

Webinars are available to teachers who are unable to attend onsite training due to schedule or distance. They provide a foundation for implementation in a one-hour, live setting. Overview webinars are not intended to replace an on-site teacher training for first-time SMG teachers. Multiple webinars are offered each semester.
